Archiving Policy
Journal of Missionary Media (JMM) is committed to ensuring the long-term preservation and accessibility of all published content. To safeguard scholarly records, JMM implements a digital archiving policy as follows:
1. Digital Archiving
All published articles in JMM are archived and preserved in multiple digital repositories to ensure long-term access, even in the event that the journal is no longer published.
JMM participates in the following archiving systems (to be updated as applicable):

LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) – Ensures content is preserved in a distributed network of libraries.

CLOCKSS (Controlled LOCKSS) – A secure preservation network for long-term archiving.

Garuda (Garba Rujukan Digital) – Indonesia’s national academic repository managed by Kemdikbudristek.

Indonesia OneSearch – A national discovery platform integrating academic and library content.

Institutional Repositories – Authors are encouraged to deposit their final published articles in their university or institutional repositories.
2. Self-Archiving Policy
Authors are allowed and encouraged to deposit versions of their work in:

Personal websites

Academic social networks (e.g., ResearchGate, Academia.edu)
The version allowed for deposit is the final published version (Version of Record), with proper citation and a link to the original publication on the JMM website.
3. Preservation Strategy
To prevent the loss of content due to technical failure or other unforeseen circumstances, JMM performs regular:
